Onewheel GT Bluetooth Calibration

Introduction
If you’ve recently installed aftermarket rails, a replacement BMS, or disconnected the battery of your Onewheel GT, it may be necessary to re-calibrate the board to ensure optimal performance. Use the guide below to re-calibrate your Onewheel GT and get back to shredding!
Important: This process is not compatible with firmware version Cassiopeia – 6132 or above.
Note: Completing this process may render your existing warranty void or lead to refusal of non-warranty service at the discretion of Future Motion, Inc. (the creators of Onewheel).
Step 1 Open this guide in a mobile Bluetooth enabled browser
- iOS – Download the Webler app and paste this guide’s URL into the in-app browser.
- Android – *Incompatible
- Desktop – *Incompatible
*Requires ‘Remove BLE Handshake Check’
Step 2 Power on the Onewheel
- Once you have powered on your Onewheel, proceed to Step 3.
Step 3 Open the Onewheel app and minimize it
- Important: DO NOT connect to your Onewheel via the Onewheel app and
- Important: DO NOT close the app. Simply, minimize it.
- Download the iOS App
Step 4 Connect to the Onewheel via the mobile browser
- This is necessary to pair the Onewheel to your mobile Web Bluetooth browser.
- Click the CONNECT button below to connect!
- Note: Make sure you are not connected to your Onewheel via the Onewheel app or it will not show up in the device list.
Step 5 Connect to the Onewheel via the Onewheel app and minimize it
- Important: DO NOT close the app. Simply, minimize it and return to the guide in your mobile browser.
Step 6 Complete the calibration process
- Important: BEFORE completing the BMS + Level calibration, make sure your Onewheel is oriented at your preferred riding level.
- Click the buttons below, in order, to complete the calibration process!
Step 7 Power cycle the Onewheel
- To power cycle the Onewheel, simply turn it off and back on.
- Note: The ride mode and headlight status (on/off) may reset after completing the calibration process. They can be changed back manually at this time.
